VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- Another Van Buren County couple has been scammed for cash by con-men with a slick package and a smooth line.

In this case, the victims received a package by FedEx that they had been picked at random for a survey.  Inside the package was a check for over 1,900-dollars that they were told to cash and send the money via Western Union, minus 150-dollars which they could keep, to an address in South Carolina.

The Bloomington Township couple sent 800-dollars which was gone by the time they were notified by their bank that the check in the box was worthless.
