BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A shooting death is under investigation in Battle Creek after police were called to Vale Street near Columbia Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Officers say 24-year-old Ian Michael Millard was pronounced dead at the scene after being found in a driveway in the 100-block of Vale Street.  Authorities say it apparently stemmed from a fight at the nearby Fire and Ice Bar on East Columbia.

30-year-old Robert James Reno has been arrested as a suspect in the case.
