UNION TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- A student at Central Michigan University is facing charges of trying to poison her roommate.

Authorities say 19-year-old Ashlyn Bonkowski put bleach into the drink of her roommate on November 11th.  She was to be arraigned on Monday but posted bond and was released.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities say Bonkowski put the bleach in the drink because her roommate is "mean."  She'll be back in court on Monday for an arraignment.
