PORTAGE (WKZO) -- Portage Public Safety Officers responded to a fight in a parking lot in the 7500-block of Westnedge around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

After arresting an assault suspect, the officer left the patrol vehicle to take witness statements.  That's when 31-year-old Brandon Wayne Brock was able to crawl through the security screen of the vehicle and escape while handcuffed.  A K-9 track didn't turn up any results.

Brock is described as a white male around 5'5" in height and weighing around 150-pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Portage Police.
