BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- Funeral plans have been set for eight-year-old Karinna Johnson, who died in a fire that Battle Creek investigators believe was intentionally set last month.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Battle Creek. The girl's older brother and sister managed to escape the burning home, but she was trapped in a second story bedroom.
Police have one person of interest who is being held on unrelated charges. The family lost everything in the fire. They are soliciting donations to help them pay for the funeral.
