BARRY COUNTY (WKZO) -- The Barry County Board of Commissioners has authorized a forensic audit of the Barry County animal shelter to determine if former Shelter board member Marcie Tepper used department drugs to euthanize any animals, and whether any of those animals came from the pound.  They found a pile of dead animals and a foreclosed home covered in feces that she owned in Thornapple Township.

Tepper has since admitted herself into a mental health facility, and Sheriff Dar Leaf is calling the board’s action a fishing expedition, saying he has already looked into the matter.  It Was Leaf who appointed her to the board.
