PORTAGE (WKZO) -- Portage Public Safety isn’t saying a lot about the death of an infant who had been living in the 6400 block of Independence, other than that an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday

Rescue crews were dispatched to a report of a baby not breathing at 12:43 Tuesday afternoon  . Attempts to revive the baby were not successful.

The home was also searched for any evidence that might indicate why the baby met its fate. They must have their suspicions to conduct such an investigation.
