ANN ARBOR, MI (1660 THE FAN) - #3 Michigan proved beyond a shadow of a doubt why they are ranked that high, as the Wolverines used their athletic ability, and capitalized on Bronco turnovers, as they claimed a relatively easy 73-41 win over WMU on Tuesday night at the Crisler Center. It was underclassmen on both sides that stood out, as Michigan sophomore Trey Burke led John Beilein's squad with 20 points, while Bronco freshman Darius Paul scored 10 and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead his team, which lost for the second time in eight games. Western falls to 6-2 on the season, while U of M stays unbeaten on the year at 8-0. Next up for Western- a trip to Illinois State on Saturday, with broadcast time on 96.5 WKZO set for 7:30 pm. The Wolverines' next contest is also on Saturday, as they take on the Razorbacks of Arkansas. 1660 the Fan will have all the action beginning at 11:30 am.
