KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Former Parchment High School athletic director John Thompson is headed to jail for 45 days for a drunk driving conviction.  He was sentenced Monday, and also given a year and a half probation.

Thompson was arrested in April after being clocked driving 120 miles-per-hour on Gull Road at 1 a.m.  He has been fired as the assistant principal of Parchment Middle School and as the high school's athletic director.
