Auction to raise money for Ford Presidential Library and Museum

GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Personal items owned by President Ford and First Lady Betty Ford are going up for auction.

The Ford family has donated more than 50 items that will be sold to benefit the 15-million dollar Student Learning Center adjacent to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.  The value of the items is pegged at more than 100-thousand dollars.

The live auction held by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas will take place on December 11th.
