VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- Four Van Buren County teens who allegedly went on a vandalism spree, shooting up South Haven and Geneva Township, will face charges this week.
The 17-year-olds were using pellet guns to shoot out car windows, displays in stores, and Christmas decorations Friday night. Complaints were rolling in for an hour and a half from all over the township about the destruction, until one of the victims managed to get a license plate number and a description of the car they were using to police.
Two of the teens are expected to be charged with felony malicious destruction of personal and real property, and two others with misdemeanors. Damages have been estimated at 12-thousand dollars.
