THREE RIVERS (WKZO) -- A group of Homeowners in Three Rivers are not at all happy with their city officials after a back up in the sewer line, flooded their basements.
Folks on Oak and Maple Streets have complained, they have gone to the city commission meeting and the city utility is refusing to help them out.
Jerre Hackenberg says several homes and a church on her street were had everything in their cellars contaminated by raw sewage. It all had to be removed by a hazmat team and landfilled. She feels like they are being treated that way by city officials. The Utility will only say they found rags blocking the line and they say it’s not their problem.
