BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- Janesville Acoustics plans to bring 225 new jobs to Battle Creek.
The firm makes felt panels and other auto parts for the interior of cars and trucks. The Michigan Strategic Fund has awarded a 1.5-million dollar incentive this week, and just as soon as the City of Battle Creek approves a package of tax breaks, the firm says it plans to invest $10-million into the 250-thousand square foot plant at 2500 Logistics Drive in the Fort Custer Industrial Park.
B.C. Unlimited CEO Karl Dehn says the company turned down offers from Ohio and Indiana to come to Michigan.
