MINNEAPOLIS, MN (1660 THE FAN) -  Echoes of Ringo Starr at Target Field Tuesday night.  Doug Fister was cruising along with a 4-0 lead, when the Tigers' defense let him down...and the Twins back into the game.  Enter Andy Dirks, who put Detroit ahead for good in the 6th, as the Tigers went on to defeat Minnesota 8-4. 

Miguel Cabrera went 3-5, and notched his 99th and 100th RBIs of the season.  Fister gave the team some much needed innings, as he pitched eight strong to notch the win.  Detroit goes for the series win Wednesday afternoon, with a 12:45 pm broadcast time on AM 590 WKZO.
