DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors is recalling more than ten-thousand Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana Vans.
The automaker says the recall was launched in 20 cold-weather states and in Canada because road salt may have corroded the fueling pipe. Safety regulators in the U.S. point out a higher safety risk of fire exists if the pipe that carries gas is corroded.
GM says no injuries or fires have been reported due to the issue. The recall involves the model years 2003-2004.
