GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- ArtPrize 2012 is a little over a month away in Grand Rapids, and organizers say they are in dire need of volunteers. So far, they only have half of the one-thousand volunteers they require to put on the event.

Registration to volunteer has been extended due to the lack of willing bodies so far.  A kick-off rally for those who want to help out will be held Wednesday night in downtown Grand Rapids starting at 5:30 p.m. at 55 Campau Circle.
