COLON, MI (WTVB) - The Family and Friends of Bronson high school graduate Venus Stewart plan to hold a cook-out and balloon launch in her memory tomorrow afternoon in Colon Community Park. 

Thursday of this week marked the 2-year anniversary of her disappearance and presumed murder. Estranged husband Doug Stewart is serving a life term after his conviction for her killing, but he maintains his innocence and says he doesn’t know where she is.  The Sunday event will begin at 1PM.
