KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Black Jack’s, a new gambling establishment is now open for business in downtown Kalamazoo. It’s licensed under a state permit that allows gambling for charity. Owner Ryan Reedy says half the proceeds go to a local non-profit.
He says the costs all come out of his half. Its Kalamazoo’s first, but there are already 74 others like it around the state. Reedy says no slot machines, just table games and it helps them compete a little with FireKeepers and Gun Lake and Four Winds.
It is tucked into the Wild Bull in Kalamazoo’s Entertainment District. He expects big crowds this weekend.
