WARREN (WKZO) -- The damage to the General Motors Technical Center in Warren from an explosion last week could reach five-million dollars.

The estimates come from a police report following the explosion in the battery-testing lab at the facility.  The blast blew out windows and caused a small fire.

One worker remains hospitalized due to the explosion.  GM says gasses from an experimental battery pack ignited during a test.
