Rod Stewart has lined up a new series of dates as part of his ongoing Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The raspy-voiced rocker, who's slated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for a second time on Saturday, along with his old group The Faces , has scheduled nine concerts at the Vegas venue, Pollstar.com reports.  The shows, dubbed Rod Stewart: The Hits, will take place September 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30, and October 3, 6 and 7.

The performances will coincide with the publication of Stewart's as-yet-untitled autobiography, which will hit shelves on October 2, according to RandomHouse.com .

Also on Stewart's itinerary, a previously announced run of 11 joint shows with Stevie Nicks scheduled for July and August.
