GALESBURG (WKZO) -- An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday on the body of a 45-year-old man found dead in his bed Tuesday in Galesburg.
Police were dispatched to a home on Beckwith Drive at about 1:30pm Tuesday after the homeowner found Michael Paul Youngs unresponsive and, apparently, dead.
Youngs was renting a room in the home.
Police are treating the death as suspicious because of apparent trauma to his body. Detectives and forensics teams spent about 4 hours going through the home.
