The unmarried actress became the legal guardian of Gemma Rose Davis earlier this year (11), and now she's shown off her pride and joy for a spread in Britain's Hello! magazine.

She tells the publication, ""It's been a profound experience for me... I love taking care of Gemma more than I ever could have imagined... It is an amazing thing to be responsible for a tiny baby and I just wanted her to have the best care and all the love possible.""

And single Davis is adamant she's happy to raise Gemma on her own, adding: ""Some people feel desperation about finding a man. Personally, I don't.""
