BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- Battle Creek Police are looking for a mugger who staked out the Speeds Restaurant on West Michigan Avenue in Urbandale Wednesday night.
An employee who had just closed up shop at around 11 p.m. was struck in the head after a male suspect demanded money. The suspect then fled eastbound on foot. They brought in a K-9 to help in the search, but the assailant remains at large.
The victim was taken to Bronson Battle Creek hospital and was treated for a minor head injury. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Silent Observer or The Battle Creek City Police.
