GOBLES (WKZO) -- A teenager from Kalamazoo and a couple from South Haven were injured after a two car collision at C.R. 388 and 32nd St. near Gobles just after 1PM Sunday.  

Van Buren County Deputies say that 17-year-old Cody Baumstein had stopped his Chevy Impala at the intersection, and then pulled out right into the path of an Econoline Van driven by 44-year-old Tony Morehead of Grand Junction, and was struck broadside.

The local volunteer fire department was training nearby and responded with the Jaws of Life to pry the teen and his two passengers out of the shattered Chevy.   

Baumstein and Roger Devries were initially listed in serious condition but have since been discharged. Mary Devries, who was in the back seat was admitted in critical condition, but is in fair condition after emergency surgery.  A

ll three were treated at Bronson Hospital.

Morehead suffered only minor injuries.
