DETROIT, Mich (WLMI) Voting on a new labor deal between the United Auto Workers and Chrysler appears to be split, with voting scheduled to end tomorrow. According to the UAW website, five locals had voted in favor of the contract, three had voted against it. Since then the big Sterling Heights plant has narrowly approved it. A simple majority of the 26-thousand Chrysler union workers must vote in favor of the contract for it to be ratified. A rejection would send it to arbitration.
