CONSTANTINE (WKZO) -- A 16-year-old girl is nursing minor injuries after she spotted a spider in her car as she drove on Youngs Prairie Road near her home town, Constantine, Sunday evening , She lost control and crashed trying to get it out of the moving vehicle.
Deputies said her airbag deployed, reducing the potential for injuries. They are officially calling it distracted driving.
Another teen, who had only had his license for 2 months, still has some things to learn.
The 16-year-old from Bloomfield Hills was caught racing down I-94 on Sunday, clocked going 123-miles per hour by state troopers in a brand new BMW. He told the troopers he was headed to Chicago.
He was cited for speeding, careless driving and improper lane use.
Because he is a probationary driver, his license will be reassessed.
