LEROY (WKZO) -- State police have re-opened a 40-year-old murder case in Ingham County.  Ray McFarland was killed in 1971 while working the overnight shift at a Leroy Township gas station.  He was 18 at the time of his death.  No one was ever charged in the murder and now police are taking a second look at ballistic and DNA evidence.  They’re also asking the public’s help in the case.
