Broncos Drop 6th Game In A Row, Fall To Gonzaga

SPOKANE, WA (WKZO) -- Turnovers haunted Western Michigan as the Broncos were beat down 78-58 by 19th ranked Gonzaga on Saturday. The loss was the 6th in a row for the Broncos as they remain winless in 2011.

Western had 22 turnovers, with 19 coming from the starting 5.

Robert Sacre and Sam Dower each had 15 for the Bulldogs as they remain perfect on the season (4-0). Matt Stainbrook topped the scoring charts for Western with 11 points and 6 rebounds and 

Gonzaga took a 36-28 lead into halftime and led by as much as 23 in the second half.

The Broncos are off until Wednesday as the host Hope College at University Arena at 7pm.
