GOBLES (WKZO) -- There was more than just turkey cooking at a home on State Street in Gobles Thursday afternoon. 

A family had their holiday ruined when their house caught fire at about 3:30. Everyone was able to escape unharmed but a false ceiling in the building made the fire difficult to fight. 

Fire investigators have not released the suspected cause.
