COLON TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- As deer season begins Tuesday, the family of murder victim Venus Stewart hopes some hunter will come across evidence of her burial site. 

Her family has posted videos on YouTube that show Doug Stewart’s parents ripping down flyers that ask for the public ’s help to find her grave. Doug Stewart Sr. said they defame their son, calling him a murderer.  

Karol Stewart told the friends of Venus’s family, who videotaped them in the act that that Doug is doing well in prison, and he hopes they find her body.   

The family has continued to search the area where cell phone records suggest Stewart was on the day of the murder.
