STURGIS (WKZO) -- Sturgis Police are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in a burglary case.
Sturgis Police responded to a burglary in progress at C.A. Murphy Oil in the 1100-block of North Clay Street just after 3 a.m. Sunday. On arrival, they found a door had been smashed open and the place had been ransacked, with file cabinets overturned and records scattered.
No suspects were found at the scene, but it was determined that a safe had been stolen. The safe that was stolen is about three-feet tall and weighs around 400-pounds. They're offering a 500-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
