MATTAWAN, MI -- (WKZO) Mattawan voters will go to the polls tomorrow to decide a 59.9-million dollar bond issue for two new elementary schools and to upgrade the technology in its upper grades.
Voters rejected an 88-million dollar bond issue request last May and school officials say this smaller request is based on the feedback they got after that defeat. It would cost a homeowner with a taxable value of $75-thousand dollars about $255 dollars in additional taxes each year.
