STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich (WLMI)  A 35-year-old Macomb County native is one of six soldiers killed recently in fighting in Afghanistan.  Ergin Osman died on May 26th when insurgents attacked members of the 101st Airborne Division with an improvised explosive device. 

Osman enlisted in the U.S. Army after a decade in the Marine Corps.  Funeral arrangements are pending.
