PORTAGE -- A driver who police say appeared to be drunk apparently thought he could outrun police Monday morning, leading them on a high speed chase, north on Westnedge through Portage, then eastbound on I-94. He then headed south on Sprinkle into a construction area where there was loose gravel, then lost control and struck a parked car in a residential driveway. He was not hurt, but he was arrested, for fleeing and eluding, driving without a valid license and operating under the influence. Arrested is 21-year-old Cameron Donovan Watson. Portage Police say he was arrested just two weeks ago for fleeing from police.
