ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police are investigating an abduction
attempt near White Pigeon.
A 16-year-old girl taking a shortcut home along railroad tracks between Dickenson and U.S. 12 in Southern St. Joseph County Sunday evening, told troopers she was approached by a man who asked her for sex and grabbed her sweatshirt.
She was able to slip out of the sweatshirt and run home. The suspect is described as
a white male, about five foot seven inches tall, with short light brown hair, a clean shaven face and a deep voice.
Any information pertinent to the case can be relayed to the state police.
