The Mavericks came to the Staples Center this week having never beaten the Los Angeles Lakers in a road playoff game. Now they'll head back toDallaswith a 2-to-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.
The Mavericks last night upended the Lakers 93-to-81, putting a damper on a possible three-peat for Kobe Bryant and Company.
In the East, in Chicago, the Bulls evened their series against Atlanta at a game apiece with an 86-73 victory over the Hawks.
And Michigan guard Darius Morris will take a shot at the NBA. Morris announced Wednesday that he will remain in the draft and leave school after two seasons with the Wolverines. Morris led the U-of-M in scoring and assists last season.
