The NFL Players Association will not interfere with the NFL Draft at the end of next month despite the two sides still having issues regarding the recent lockout and trying to figure out a new collective bargaining agreement.
The NFLPA announced on its website Monday that they will hold the "2011 NFLPA Rookie Debut" in New York but will not stage an alternate event head-to-head versus the NFL on the first night of the draft. They will instead hold a three-day celebration starting on April 28th with a private reception and ending on the 30th with an event involving draftees, current players and their families. The 2011 NFL Draft also starts on April 28th.
