KALAMAZOO -- A 15-year-old boy was shot just before midnight late Thursday in Kalamazoo.  Public Safety received several reports of multiple shots fired in the 900-block of North Westnedge, but when they arrived, those on the scene said they had seen a possible victim limping away from the scene.

They did a quick check of the area and were unable to locate the victim.  A little over an hour later, he turned up at Bronson Hospital, and fortunately his injuries were not life-threatening.

Neither witnesses nor the victim were able to provide any description of whoever it was that opened fire.  They ask that anyone with information contact them or call Silent Observer.
