SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - Recently, the Superior Police Department received allegations regarding an officer that used funds designated for maintenance of a voluntary law enforcement fitness center for his own personal use. The 19 year veteran of the Superior Police Department has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation. Because of the nature of the allegations, the Superior Police Department has requested the Eau Claire Police to conduct a separate investigation to determine if any criminal violations were involved. An internal investigation is also underway.
