CENTREVILLE (WKZO) -- A woman is spending some time in the St. Joseph County jail after pretending to be someone she was not.
She was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a routine traffic violation over the weekend. Officers became suspicious because the description on her I.D. did not match her physical characteristics.
She insisted the I.D. was correct, but further checking determined she was lying. She turned out to be Jessica Lee Fullerton of Manton, Michigan, who is wanted on several arrest warrants, including a cocaine possession charge in Wexford County.
She was arrested by the local officers for obstructing a police investigation.
The woman will remain in the St. Joseph County lockup until transport can be arranged to take her home.
