STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU) Bond was set at $150,000 for a Stevens Point man who’s accused of plotting to kill his wife. Prosecutors say 50-year-old Rocky Neuman told several people that he was planning to kill his estranged wife.
The female tattoo customer says Neuman asked her if she’d help dig a grave. She told police, and agreed to wear a wire to help gather evidence in the case. Neumann said he already had the shovels.
Neumann’s estranged wife also said she’d received a series of threatening text messages that she shared with police.
Yesterday’s initial court appearance was delayed from last week because Neuman needed more time to find an attorney. He’s been charged with first degree conspiracy to commit intentional homicide.
