PORTAGE, MI (WKZO) -- A youngster got a much more realistic ride near a flight simulator at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo than he expected yesterday afternoon, after the 5-year-old fell into a pit under the computerized ride.  His flight was short and ended abruptly, but his injuries were non-life threatening according to fire crews that pulled him out.   Air Zoo director Bob Ellis released a statement saying his staff did everything right and safety is a priority.  He also says the ride will continue to be used.
