ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO) --Consumers Energy continues to address outages in the area. Kalamazoo got hit the hardest from Thursday’s overnight lightning and heavy rain storms. Most had their power back by last night but several hundred customers in Overeisel township in Allegan County spent the night in the dark, and may finally get their power back sometime Saturday.
They have to bring in a portable substation according to spokesman Terry Dedoes, and the wet ground has made repairs dangerous for crews.
