BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO) -- The family of Army Sgt. Joshua Throckmorton of Battle Creek say they have been informed by military officials that he has been killed in Afghanistan.  

The Pentagon has not yet released that information to the public or any details about how he died Tuesday.  His family says the 28 year Battle Creek Central grad leaves behind three children and a wife.   He was 3-months into a one year tour of duty in Afghanistan.
