DETROIT, Mich (WLMI) Detroit police have arrested a man in connection with a series of rapes that has terrorized the city since early January. Officials confirmed the arrest yesterday, but declined further comment. Authorities believe a single suspect is responsible for sexually assaulting at least seven women on the city’s east side. Police Chief Ralph Godbee says they’ve been conducting DNA evidence over the past few days.
