LIVONIA, Mich (WQTX) An undercover Livonia police officer is dead after being shot while investigating a string of home break-ins. 48-year old Larry Nehasil was shot to death while interrupting a burglarly at a home in Walled Lake. One of two men who were breaking into the home was also killed in an exchange of gunfire with several other Livonia police officers. The other suspect was taken into custody.
