OSHTEMO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo County deputies have released the names of the victims in a fatal crash in Oshtemo Township Tuesday morning.

A passenger was killed when a pickup left the pavement in the 8100-block of West H Avenue at about 1AM and hit a tree. Passenger Curtis Michener, 21, of Paw Paw was dead at the scene.

Eric DeRyke, 21, also of Paw Paw, was admitted to Bronson and was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning.

The 22-year-old driver was admitted for non-life threatening injuries.

Because alcohol was a factor in the crash, the driver may face charges, and his name is being withheld pending arraignment.
