KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A body found Sunday may have been that of a homeless man.
Preliminary results from an autopsy on the body of a man found dead Sunday in the 3700 block of Michigan Avenue suggests it may have been a heart attack that killed the man.
The name of the 49-year-old is still being withheld.
He had former addresses in both Kalamazoo and Paw Paw but may have been homeless when he laid down or fell along a trail off Michigan Avenue sometime last week and died. His body had been there a few days.
Police do not suspect foul play.
His body was found by a man who used the trail to get from an apartment complex to a convenience store about 9:30 Sunday morning.
