The Pistons trailed by only 3 at halftime last night against the Lakers in Los Angeles, but then L-A outscored Detroit after the intermission 63-to-41 to cruise to a 108-to-83 victory.
Rookie Greg Monroe came off the bench to post 14 points and 11 boards Detroit. Tracy McGrady also had 14 points for the Pistons, who dropped to 3-and-16 on the road.
Detroit is off now until Saturday night when its hosts Philadelphia at the Palace.
