The Red Wings were tripped up 4-to-1 at home last night by lowly Dallas, which came into Motown having lost 5 straight and nine of their last ten games. Tomas Holmstrom broke up the shutout for Detroit with a power-play goal at 16:29 of the third period. That makes it back-to-back losses for the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena. Tomorrow night, it’s Detroit at Buffalo.
In the ECHL tonight, Kalamazoo plays Toledo at Wings Stadium while in college hockey, in the opener of a weekend home-n-home series, Western Michigan hosts Notre Dame tonight at Lawson Arena.
